Major
Responsibilities:
Supervise
packaging maintenance mechanics in all phases of machine,
equipment repair and preventive maintenance to ensure maximum
machine efficiencies. Direct training and indoctrination of
workers to improve performance and acquaint workers with company
policies and procedures. Create and document procedures for
timely completion of preventive and routine maintenance activities.
Evaluate the performance of machinery and make recommendations
to modify the preventive maintenance schedules appropriately.
Review work and job orders to determine all work and personnel
priorities. Coordinate activities of workers rebuilding or
overhauling in order to improve existing products and processes.
Interact with production supervisors and quality control to
review issues pertaining to machine performance and scrap
generated. Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required
for operations. Monitor allocated budget for spare parts and
supplies. Manage the spare parts consumption and usage to
ensure the ESOM budget levels are met.
Experience:
5
years of hands-on experience executing Predictive/Preventive,
TQM, and CMMS Maintenance applications. 3 years of direct
experience in a maintenance supervisor role. Experience in
a high-speed packaging environment. Experience with FDA Regulatory
or GMP; and Safety and OSHA compliance.
Education/Technical Skills:
College
degree in related field.Strong mechanical and electrical background.
Computer skills with spread sheets, databases, and work processing.
PLC and Servo Drives knowledge.
Additional
Information:
Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year
