Our
Client, a global leader in the manufacture of ceiling suspension
systems, is seeking a Machinist/Toolmaker for the 11pm-7am
or 12am-8am shift for our Malvern facility, which is located
40 miles outside of Philadelphia.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up
and operate one or more different types of machine tools
such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill and computer
controlled equipment, etc. on diversified parts such as
tools, dies, jigs, fixtures
- Plan
and perform bench and required machine operations to construct,
alter, repair, assemble tools, jigs dies, location or profile
gages.
Required
Skills:
- 3-5
years of experience as machinist required
- Ability
to read and utilize prints to make tools, die ledge of qualities
of tool steel, cold drawn steel various soft metals and
other materials used in the shop.
- Ability
to use advanced shop mathematics, together with the use
of drawings for parts, specifications, charts, tables, and
all varieties of precision measuring instruments.
